Teen Days Each year the PIE&G Board of Directors sends several students from our local high schools to an event sponsored by the Michigan Electric Cooperative Association (“MECA”) at Kettunen 4-H Center near Cadillac. The event provides an opportunity for teens to learn about the electric industry, the cooperative business structure and participate in a number of activities including pole climbing and a trip to Channel 9&10. Students wishing to attend this event must be a sophomore or junior, available to attend a 2-day event scheduled for April 28-30, 2010 and submit a letter of interest by March 12, 2010. Your letter should highlight your high school activities and your reason for applying to the program.
Students selected to attend the Teen Day program are eligible to be selected for the Youth Tour Program in Washington D.C. June 12-17, 2010.
