Scholarship |

The Communities First Fund first began offering college scholarships in 1999. To date, 33 scholarships have been awarded. Graduating seniors who are dependents of a PIEG member, and are planning to attend Alpena Community College, Kirtland Community College or North Central Michigan College, may apply. Scholarships are awarded for $1,200.00 per year and are renewable for the second year. Applications are accepted between January 1st thru March 31st. The Board reviews all applications and makes their selection in April. Candidates are notified and presentation is made at their respective high school awards ceremony.
